My Dad taught my brother and I if it hits like a man hit it like a man. Yeah you'll get in trouble, but they won't do it again. The taboo on violence against women was accompanied by a taboo on violence by women. Recently women have become more violent and are not being held accountable. These feminists that are violent towards men are going to have a nasty shock if they do it to a bloke that doesn't respect that taboo. And that's why my brother knocked out our cousin...
My older sister says “If a lady hits someone, she is no longer a lady”.
Kinda makes sense to me. I’m all for women (or everyone) being able to defend themselves against anyone, and for everyone to not hit anyone under any reasonable circumstances.
If women take on the “aggressive” stereotype and start hitting men, it’s only reasonable that, with time, the “don’t hit girls” rule gets dropped, at least for reciprocal and self-defense circumstances. I’d expect that the societal expectations equalize on either side.
As it’s stands, it’s ridiculous that many women get away with overt, aggressive behavior against men, and men are frowned upon for even lifting their arms to cover their face from their attackers.
i hate it when i see someone i vaguely know in public. do i say hi?? do i act like i don’t see them and hope for the best??

Have you ever read a manga and then get to a colour spread and you’re like “this is not how I imagined how they would look why is this fucker over here purple”
when you hear somebody talking about one of your interests
